If you liked it....

then you shoulda put a ring on it! and Ryan did :P It's not an engagement ring or anything crazy like that, but just a small gift to show me how much he does care about me, and a promise to each other that we'll always be best friends.
As for my mani- I FINALLY used my Glee nail foils from Sephora that I got almost a year ago. They weren't the easiest things to put on. In fact they drove me insane! They wouldn't rip off at the ends the way the Sally Hansen nail polish strips do, so I physically had to cut and file each of these down and that took forever especially since they are foil.
Once on my nails the ends were incredible sharp and I felt like I couldn't touch my face or scratch myself for fear of getting a scratch or a cut haha! I mean they looked AMAZING and i got a ton of compliments on my mani!
They are definitely beautiful, and they lasted me 3 days before I couldn't take it any more and pulled them all off. They probably could have gone another day or two, so their lasting time was impressive to me since their packaging said they would only last a day or two.
Here are my left overs, for a view of the packaging...I completely forgot to take before and during pictures for this mani sadly :(

Polish Swap & OMG IT'S HOLOGRAPHIC!

So! Yesterday, I got to have the most perfect morning with my good friend & fellow polish addict Karen! (she also has a polish blog right HERE) We met up at Starbucks to enjoy the first warm drink of the fall season together :) and that's where the magic happened and we traded our polishes!
These are the beautiful polishes that Karen swapped with me: (left to right) Orly Pixie Dust, OPI A-Rose at Dawn..Broke By Noon, Zoya Tallulah, OPI I'm India Mood for Lovin, and Finger Paints Go Van Gough! I absolutely LOVE all these colors and can't wait to use them!!
After Starbucks, Karen and I headed over to Ulta and then Bed Bath and Beyond to get a little polish shopping in. Ulta is having super great deals right now on polishes plus they have a $5 off coupon!! Above is Karen at BB&B picking out some new Sinful Colors polishes!! We had a blast together lol, especially when I spotted two of the coveted Color Club holographic polishes, to which I shouted "it's holographic? IT'S HOLOGRAPHIC!" and promptly scooped them up!
I scored Color Clubs two holographic polishes Love em & Leave em, and Fashion Addict!!
Ulta was having a clearance sale on their old style polishes and I scored this beauty for $2! Ulta salon polish in Set The Nude
On my way to check out I spotted these in a new Essence display for their new @holographic.com collection. So I scooped up 2 of the 3 polish colors in: Gagalectric, and Prism@tic White. They look promising, I can't wait to give them a try :)
And last of my haul is 3 new Sally Hansen Xtreme wear polishes (since they were buy 2 get 1 free at Ulta) in Bubblegum Pink, Grey Area, and Ivy League!

Wonderstruck Mani

I heard about the new Taylor Swift perfume on the radio a few weeks ago, and the DJ made it sound amazing. I knew that I had to get s sniff of it, as if by fate, that day in the mail my copy of Instyle arrived, with an add for Taylor Swifts new Wonderstruck perfume...I eagerly unfolded the ad and took a big wiff, my nose was in love!! It smelled like vanilla and marshmallows with a hint of cranberry. As fast as I could I went online and ordered myself a bottle.
Which finally arrived from Sephora on Thursday, which in turn inspired my Wonderstruck Mani! I used two coats of OPI DS Elegance. Which is by far one of my most prized polishes in my collection. I've had it since my sophomore year of college when I was going through sorority recruitment :) I still believe it's this nail polish that got me my bid for Chi Omega! :)

Boots and Boys Bandana Nails

Inspired by my redneck (and I mean that with all my love) of a boyfriend, and listening to Ke$ha's song Boots and Boys, I decided to go for a Southern girl bandana mani! :) I love the way it came out, I got a few compliments on it already, but mostly I like it because it reminds me of my man! ha!
I used two coats of OPI Suede in a bleu jeans color (the color tab fell off :( ) and Sinful Colors white to stamp! I finished the mani off with two coats of SV. I used my new Konad plate to stamp it :)
Josh's work in progress.....need I say more about how exactly he inspired my mani? and yes, I stole this picture off his facebook page. He just got a new off road bumper for it and he's pretty excited, also since this picture he's put a roof rack on it, and his mom and I agree that it looks like Nigel Thornberry's truck from the Wild Thornberrys! ha <3
Also, Josh came to my second grade class to talk to them about being a paramedic on Fire Safety Day on Thursday. For a writing activity, I had the students write about their favorite part of fire safety day, one of my students drew this picture of Josh, which I think is too adorable!!

He gives me butterflies Pink Wednesday

Yesterday at Ulta, something amazing happened. For their 21 days of beauty, they were having a huge sale on Butter London nail polishes: Buy one get one FREE!!! Ok, so I always wanted to try these polishes, but couldn't justify spending $14 per bottle for one. AND I had a $3.50 off coupon for purchases of $10.00 or more..So that being said, I took Josh to the dentist yesterday and while he was getting worked on, I snuck off to Ulta...where I bought two bottles. I thought I had satisfied my polish addiction lol. One color I picked was purely on the name "La Moss" I wasn't sure how I would like the color, but didn't really care. ha! So for pink Wednesday I decided to go for a vintage traveling circus inspired theme :)
I decided to use my good ol' Katy Perry Black Shatter from OPI on my thumb, over three coats of Butter London Queen Vic. I was a little disappointed in the quality of the Butter polishes, they were extremely thin :( I did three coats on my mani, and probably could have used a 4th. I like having my accent nail being my thumb for once :) it's cute in my opinion!
I stamped the butterfly pattern on my nails with one of my BM plates :) using Butter London La Moss! and I actually really really love the rich vintage red color :)
The polishes I used for my mani :) OPI black shatter, Butter Queen Vic, Butter La Moss.
AND my fabulous Ulta haul (I had to go back later that night and score two more bottles!) I got Toff, Wallis Queen Vic, and La Moss..

Josh is working a double, so I won't see his face until Friday night! Sad, but at least I get to squeeze in some time to do "me" things, like spend a ridiculous amount of time looking through my polishes, and cleaning up the mess afterward! ha :)

Pink Wednesday & Cotton Candy Feelings

It's Wednesday!!!
My variation for pink Wednesday this week, is brought to you by my girly in love heart haha! I literally have felt like the biggest dreamer the past few days, its funny how boys can do that to a girl! Anyway! So here is my fun Pink Wednesday mani :)
This was my first time experimenting with the Sally Hansen nail art pen, which I found annoying to use at first. Since it was new the polish wasn't flowing out thick, and I had to go over the designs a few times before they even became opaque. It was quite discouraging and also caused some flooding in the designs. :( I added some Swarovski rhinestones for sparkle...and quite frankly because there was absolutely no way I could hand paint little designs using my left hand!
So my right hand just got a ton of different bling added to it :P But I do love the contrast between the two hands, my left hand is all girly and drawn and my right hand is just like a rock star lol Reminds me of Taylor Swift a bit!
Here's everything that was used (SV isn't pictured) Sinful Colors Pink Forever; Orly pink glitter (no name); OPI Princesses Rule; Essence You Belong To me; Sally Hansen Nail Art Pen in white
I actually met up with my friend Jess at Starbucks and we caught up on life and she watched me paint my nails lol
She captured the moment for all you guys :) haha, we definitely left Starbucks smelling like a nail salon, whoopsies!
The work space haha I love spending time with good friends and nail polish! And after our lovely time at Starbucks I got to meet up with my man for a perfect end to my evening <3

Sugar Coated Pink Crackle

So, I was incredibly bored, which I was thoroughly enjoying (haha!) and couldn't decide how I wanted my nails to look :) I started off with two coats of OPI Princesses Rule! Which is a gorgeous powered pink sparkle polish, which was pretty...
....but I wasn't satisfied, so I then coated it with two coats of China Glaze White Cap which is an incredible iridescent sheer glitter...and still bored with the mani, I added OPI Black Shatter!
The winning trio!

Some Katy Perry Nail Shatter!

After I used my SH crackle, I had to compair it to my OPI Black Shatter. So I came up with this fun mani! I used one of my all time favorite polishes for the base color, Nicole by OPI in The Next CEO. This is seriously one of my favorite polishes. It goes on so smooth, and while it takes a few coats to really get that foiled gold look, it's completely worth it! So this is 3 coats of The Next CEO:
I waited for it to dry completely, and then went over it with OPI Black Shatter, I really like this formula of polish minus how thick it is. Sometimes I find that it dries super quick when I'm trying to cover my entire nail and I end up with bumps. But it still shatters better than SH Crackle in my opinion:

OPI Princesses Rule Mani

My boyfriend requested a pink and gray mani :) Unfortunately my gray did not feel like working with me, so i had to go with black! I used 3 coats of OPI's Princesses Rule, and bundle monster plate BM04 with Sally Hansen Black Out polish. I topped it with a coat of SV.

I'm loving the way this one turned out! :)

Hello!

Hi blogger world! I've been stalking nail polish blogs for awhile & finally decided to make my own!! I'm really excited to share all my pretty polishes and designs with you :) The picture above is a sneak peak at my Easter goodies :)
