Wowza! I can't believe how long it has been since I updated this blog-I am SO sorry guys! Life really caught up to me super fast, the end of the school year was insane and my students were keeping me on my toes! Besides keeping up with my 4th graders Ryan and I have been busy as well, we have spent way too much time having fun :) I will have to post about all our adventures super soon! In the mean time, he talked me into buying this GREEN glitter the other day when we were shopping at the mall! I picked it up at Forever 21. I love when he picks out my polishes for me :) He has the best taste in colors hehe
So to do this amazing Green mani, I first used 2 coats of Wet n Wild's Sagreena the teenage witch, which in itself is a beautiful metalic green polish. Ryan really loved the color on its own, except I completely forgot to take a picture of it-ahh!
So, after I did my forest green base, I added two amazing full sparkle coats of Green from Forever 21! This glitter is amazing it has small round green glitters mixed with larger green hex glitter in the same shade. I simply love the rich green color of the glitter! I finished the mani with a coat of SV. This is probably one of my favorite manis to date :) In closing, I super promise to post a lot again! When my blog reaches 50 followers I plan on hosting a really awesome GIVEAWAY as well!!
I was looking back through my blog at old memories and I became a little reminiscent inside. I thought back to all the time and effort I put into specific manis for special occasions and it made me a little sad to know that those times are gone, and all that remains are the memories. It's like the end of a sad movie I guess. I suppose it is time that I stop re-reading that old chapter in my life and move on...ANYWAY, so I brought out my Butter London polishes once again, and painted my nails in 2 coats of Queen Vic. 
Then, I used OPI black shatter, and topped my mani with two coats of SV for shine.
I adore this combination. 
After I used my SH crackle, I had to compair it to my OPI Black Shatter. So I came up with this fun mani! I used one of my all time favorite polishes for the base color, Nicole by OPI in The Next CEO. This is seriously one of my favorite polishes. It goes on so smooth, and while it takes a few coats to really get that foiled gold look, it's completely worth it! So this is 3 coats of The Next CEO:
I waited for it to dry completely, and then went over it with OPI Black Shatter, I really like this formula of polish minus how thick it is. Sometimes I find that it dries super quick when I'm trying to cover my entire nail and I end up with bumps. But it still shatters better than SH Crackle in my opinion:
I am so sorry for my delay in posting! Life and summer caught up with me, I promise it won't happen again!! But while I wasn't posting on here, I was actively documenting my new manis!! For this mani I used my new CC polish in coo-coo-cachoo. This is the first CC polish I've ever tried, and I love the color!! I used 3 coats to get it to a bright rich hot orange. I went out and bought a few more CC polishes since! :) I then used SH new Cackle Overcoat in Fractured Foil for the shatter.
I actually really like the SH crackle, more than I originally thought I would! The contrast between these two colors isn't that strong, but I love the look! I had a ton of people doing a double take on my nails with this mani!
